Perinatal Mental Health
Pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood can be meaningful and transformative experiences, but they can also bring unexpected challenges. While many people anticipate feelings of joy and excitement, it is also common to experience anxiety, overwhelm, sadness, self-doubt, grief, or a sense of disconnection during this season of life. Physical recovery, sleep deprivation, shifting identities, relationship changes, and the demands of caring for a baby or toddler can all impact emotional well-being. When these challenges begin to feel difficult to manage on your own, therapy can provide a space for support and understanding. You don’t have to do this alone.
Willow Psychotherapy Group offers compassionate, specialized support for individuals of all genders navigating the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and early parenthood. Treatment is guided by evidence-based strategies and grounded in a compassionate therapeutic relationship. Together, we will explore the challenges you are facing, strengthen coping skills, process difficult emotions, and build self-compassion as you navigate this significant life transition. You do not have to carry the weight of these experiences alone. Therapy can help you feel more supported, connected, and confident as you move through your journey, whatever that journey is.
